Awakening the Oracle Within: A Sacred Journey through Egypt

In Spring 2026, Michelle joined Awakening the Oracle Within, a two-week sacred journey through Egypt led by Dr. Dee Kennedy. Travelling with a small group drawn together by spirituality, healing and personal transformation, Michelle describes the experience as extraordinary. Here she shares her experience of the temples, teachings, healing practices and connections that made the journey so transformative. She has kindly offered to share advice with anyone who feels called to experience Egypt in this way.

This is a post for a trip that I went on in March/April. It was amazing, but from a very small company. It was called “Awakening the Oracle Within” and was mostly women, who were looking for spirituality, healing and a way to level up in life. I am happy to offer advice to anyone. There are some trips that shift your perspective—and then there are those that awaken your soul. My recent two-week journey through Egypt was the latter: a sacred, healing, and life-changing experience that I will carry with me forever. We began in Cairo, exploring the powerful pyramids at Dahshur and the stunning new Grand Egyptian Museum. At Gamal’s oil shop, we immersed ourselves in the ancient wisdom of healing through scent and plant essence. But the true magic began when we were granted private access to the Great Sphinx. On the Spring Equinox, our group gathered in silence between its timeless paws to meditate as the sun rose. That moment—full of reverence, stillness, and cosmic alignment—was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It felt like stepping out of time and into something eternal. From Cairo, we flew to Aswan and boarded a private Dahabiya to sail up the Nile. The journey, led by the extraordinary priestess Dee Kennedy was designed as a spiritual activation—each temple we visited aligned with the chakra system, taking us from root to crown. We had rare private access to sacred sites including Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak, Dendara, the Osirion, Luxor Temple, the Unas Pyramid, and more. The culmination of our energetic journey was a deeply personal and symbolic "rebirth" in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid. It was a sacred rite I will never forget. This wasn’t a typical tour. Onboard the Dahabiya, healing and transformation were part of daily life. We shared in tea ceremonies, received treatments from Qi Gong doctors, and explored Tarot, astrology, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, and more. These offerings created a nurturing, sacred container for deep inner work. Through meditations and rituals, we studied the Laws of Ma’at and experienced their timeless relevance. The spiritual teachings we received resonated on a soul level, grounding us in ancient truths while awakening modern insights. It truly felt like remembering something ancient and essential. As cliché as it may sound, I made lifelong friends on this journey—people with whom I shared laughter, tears, healing, and awe. We didn’t just visit Egypt. We were initiated by it. Held by its temples. Changed by its wisdom. If you feel the call to Egypt, listen. What waits for you there is far more than stone and sand. It is soul memory, sacred connection, and the chance to return home to yourself.
