Sacred Number 13

Those who know me personally, know my life-long obsession with the number 13... my rock band in the 2000's was called think13... I wrote a full-length musical script called Balance, and with the band, we performed it in San Francisco for 2 years: the performance included 13 original songs with 13 main characters on stage (dancers, fire artists and trapeze artists) that represented 13 tribes of the world coming together create harmony. The performers were collectively also representing the Troubadours. It was so cool and what an experience that I really cherish. After that I did solo music, under deeva13... on my previous websites I had a page dedicated to facts about the number 13... so in the last few days I dug through old flash-drives and found the original notes from 2006! With all the 13's in there....

Here they are... enjoy reclaiming this amazing number... also there are many more to consider, like the blessed Cathar in the south of France who were massacred by Pope Innocent (how ironic) who tried to omit the Magdalene/Yeshua blood line (Troubadours were part of the Cathar community) ... My dear friend Janet Pullen wrote a brilliant book in the 2000s about this subject, its called In Secrets and Shadows (such a powerful read)!

Also In the Aztec calendar, 13 is a sacred organizing number, forming the core of the Tonalpohualli (sacred ritual calendar), which counts 13 days in a week of creation moving through 20 signs, expressing time as a living, spiritual process rather than a linear measure. Also 1111 (1+1+1+1=4) is the same quality in numerology and 13 (1+3=4)
